THE INFLUENCE OF MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTING INFORMATION QUALITY ON SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT COMPETENCY FOR SUSTAINABLE COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE OF CASSAVA PROCESSING COMPANIES IN THAILAND

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the effect of information quality of managerial accounting on the supply chain management competency of cassava processing companies, 2) to investigate the impact of supply chain management competency on cassava processing sustainable competitive advantage of companies, and 3) to investigate the impact of managerial accounting information quality on cassava processing sustainable competitive advantage of companies in Thailand. The data collected from executives of 214 cassava processing companies by using questionnaires were analyzed by using mean, standard deviation, frequency, percentage, and structural equation model.
The results showed that the quality of managerial accounting information had a positive influence on supply chain management competency in relation to customer relationships, production integration, efficient procurement, and timely delivery. Furthermore, the research discovered that supply chain management competency in relation to customer relationships, production integration, efficient procurement, and timely delivery had a favorable impact on sustainable competitive advantage. Also, the quality of managerial accounting information had a positive influence on sustainable competitive advantages. The results can be used as empirical data by cassava processing companies to improve their long-term competitiveness.
