Social Networks and Health Promotion

This article is aim to analyze and verify the conformity of social networks concepts to health promotion concepts, by using Pender’s health promotion model and the concept of social networks are framework for analysis. The study found that the health promotion model and the concept of social networks were consistent. The health of a person is derived the following elements: 1) personal factors, including biological factors psychological factors 2) behavioral factors affecting health and 3) social and environmental factors. While social networks were consistent with the concept of health promotion through social support. Which explains that when connecting social networks to health promotion this leads to positively impact the physical and mental health of the person. Makes it possible to practice and improve health to achieve good health and live happily in society.
