Factors Influencing the Intention to Use the ‘Credit Creation, Opportunity Creation’ Loan Service of the Government Savings Bank in Mueang District, Phayao Province.

This quantitative research aimed to examine the effects of (1) perceptions of credit contract conditions in terms of knowledge and skills, (2) corporate image, and (3) customer relationship management (CRM) on the intention to use the “Credit Creation, Opportunity Creation” loan service of the Government Savings Bank in Mueang District, Phayao Province. The study population consisted of customers who intended to use the “Credit Creation, Opportunity Creation” loan service of Government Savings Bank in Mueang District, Phayao Province. A total of 400 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean and standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis using the Enter method.
The results revealed that perceived knowledge (β = .476, p < .001) and perceived skills (β = .313, p < .001) had a positive influence on service usage intention (R² = .518). Corporate image dimensions—service quality (β = .427, p < .001), corporate identity (β = .201, p < .001), corporate reputation (β = .126, p = .038), and physical environment (β = .113, p = .049)—also positively affected service usage intention (R² = .608). In addition, CRM factors, including appropriate use of technology (β = .581, p < .001), customer database development (β = .125, p = .008), and customer retention (β = .138, p = .028), were found to have a positive influence on service usage intention (R² = .565). The findings indicate that customer knowledge perception, service-related corporate image, and CRM technology are key levers for enhancing customers’ intention to use the “Credit Creation, Opportunity Creation” loan service in the studied area.
