This research study aimed to: (1) examine the levels of opinions regarding general business information, business characteristics, technology acceptance factors, and behavioral intention to use the PromptBiz system among small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) entrepreneurs; and (2) investigate the factors influencing their behavioral intention to use the PromptBiz system. A mixed-methods approach was employed. The sample consisted of SME entrepreneurs registered with the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion, divided into two groups: 400 respondents for the quantitative phase, with data collected through questionnaires, and 15 respondents for the qualitative phase, with data collected through in-depth interviews. Both groups were selected using purposive sampling. The statistical methods used included frequency counts, percentages, means, standard deviations, and multiple regression analysis.
The findings revealed that the respondents reported high levels of opinions across all factors. Business characteristics, including organizational forms (e.g., limited partnerships, ordinary partnerships, and other types) and business types (e.g., retail, wholesale, service, and manufacturing), had a statistically significant influence on behavioral intention to use the PromptBiz system. Furthermore, technology acceptance factors, namely effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, price value, and habit, were also found to significantly affect behavioral intention. The entrepreneurs expressed a strong intention to adopt the system in order to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and achieve sustainable participation in the digital economy.
