Online Teaching Management Through the Google Classroom Program During the Epidemic Situation of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe the 20-year National Strategy (2018-2037) on human resource development and capacity building, general knowledge about coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), online teaching management, and the knowledge of Google Classroom which are used as a guideline for online teaching and learning through the Google Classroom program during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). According to the 20-year National Strategy (2018-2037) on human resource development and capacity building, it focuses on solving human resource development problems, strengthening, and enhancing human advancement. By developing a learning system that responds to changes in the 21st century, a new learning arrangement is designed to flourish learners to be able to anticipate the learning structure that is continuously applicable to themselves. During the epidemic situation of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), there is still a need to establish and strengthen human resource capacity because of the essential on the development of the nation, which people is the power that drives the nation forward. Therefore, there must be an online teaching and learning management that uses technology to be as a tool for distance learning and Web-based learning, where Google Classroom is an alternative for solving these problems during the epidemic situation. Additionally, Google Classroom can effectively be a medium for communication between teachers and students in conducting online teaching and learning during the epidemic situation of Corona 2019 (COVID-19).
