Guidelines on Learning Management for Basic Education Learners in The New Normal: A Case Study of Private Schools in Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study 1) the condition of learning management for learners of basic education in the new normal era and 2) the learning management approach for learners of basic education in the new normal era. The samples used were 315 teachers of private schools under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 for the academic year 2020. Data were collected using a questionnaire in the form of Google Form. The statistics used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

The results of the research indicated that 1) the school used a policy to enhance learning management and committed learning by using both classroom learning and using online or offline systems that were in line with the current situation in the new normal era. In addition, an assessment of the readiness of the educational establishments before school starts was conducted, including the part of the school, parents, and learners, and 2) the guidelines for learning management for learners at the basic education level in the new normal era were at a high level. Considering each part, it was found that the security system had the highest average level, followed by terms of the formatting suitable for learners was at the high level, and technology systems were the lowest average level, respectively.
