One of the biggest challenges in the manufacturing industry for Thailand’s entrepreneurs under today's competitive business environment is proposed to answer this question. How do you keep your company competitive while maintaining and improving the company’s performance? Since the company's superior performance does not affect only customers, it also includes the impact it has on the company. Therefore, the company must be alert in doing business to meet the expectations of customers and the fierce competition in the market. Technology is an important tool for competitiveness sustainability and the company’s efficacy improvement, especially the information system. The information system that best responds to the operations of the manufacturing industry is Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), which is an information system that combines all manufacturing industry’s operations and links all organization’s data and processes as a single system with high flexibility and efficiency. ERP has been accepted as the main requirement in the world’s industry. The executives of the organization play an important role in driving the use of ERP systems within the organization. The successful implementation of an ERP system requires an
ERP system usage cycle, which reduces the risk of failure to invest in an ERP system. On the other hand, it increases the efficiency of corporate operations as well as being able to cope with various events that occur. Therefore, the ERP system is an important tool for driving entrepreneurs in the manufacturing industry to succeed in business operations.
