Abstract

This research aimed to study the attitude and behavior toward Chinese tourists in Bangkok Metropolitan and analyze the appropriate behavior of Chinese tourists in Bangkok Metropolitan. The research tools were questionnaire and interview of the hotels, restaurants and tour guides in Bangkok Metropolitan. 384 samples were selected by using purposive technique. Both quantitative and qualitative data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, hypotheses testing and contents analysis. The research results revealed that Chinese’s attitude was lack of knowledge and understanding in Thai custom, no discipline for behavior and annoying people. The appropriate behavior guidelines are giving Thai culture understanding guidebook. The hypothesis testing found that there was no difference in attitude toward attitude and behavior of Chinese tourists.
