Adaptation of Community Enterprises in The Epidemic Conditions of Coronavirus Infection in 2019

Abstract

The study aims to demonstrate the adaptation of community enterprises in the epidemic conditions of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Thailand. The methodology of this study was composed of the concepts of community enterprises, the epidemic conditions of coronavirus disease 2019, the adaptation of community enterprises in the epidemic conditions of coronavirus disease 2019, as well as the theory of adaptation. The study revealed that community enterprises are related to the production of goods, services, and others which arising from the adoption approaches of the community economic or the sufficiency economy in their operation. Thus, community enterprises are fundamental economic drivers and enable macroeconomics to be driven even after the outbreak of the coronavirus disease 2019 crisis, community enterprises are affected as well. If adaptation is used, community enterprises are be able to survive and may also be macroeconomic supporters. The adaptations mentioned above would start from the reduction of unnecessary expenditures, the conversion of unused assets into income, as well as the marketing adjustments in which online and delivery models must be adopted, being the effective choices for both buyers and sellers while keeping social distance.
