A Study of the Community Potential in the Management of Thailand Homestay Standards in Sa Kaew Province

The purpose of this research was to study of the community potential in the management of Thailand homestay standards in Sa Kaew province using the quantitative research method. The data was collected by using questionnaires of 10 aspects of the Thailand homestay standard index and the 27 indexes from experts in tourism, homestay, management, food and nutrition, safety, marketing and entrepreneurs in 9 districts. The questionnaire was a rating scale using the means ( ) and standard deviation (S.D.). The results are as follows: community potential in the aspect of food is at the highest level of 4.06; the aspect of hospitality is at a high level of 4.05; the cultural aspect is at a high level of 3.75; the aspect of accommodation is at a high level of 3.73; the aspect of supplementary income and community business connection is at a high level of 3.63; the aspect of safety is at a high level of 3.51; the aspect of tourism is at a high level of 3.45; the aspect of the environment is at a moderate level of 3.31; the aspect of the homestay management is at a moderate level of 3.09; and the aspect of public relations is at a moderate level of 3.01.
