The article entitled “Compensation under the Labor Protection Act BE 2562” is intended to increase the benefits of employees received from employers, especially in terms of compensation from employers. The new Labor Protection Act has been published in the Royal Thai government gazette. It is derived from the law on labor protection and welfare which guarantees at least the minimum standards under the Labor Protection Law.
The Labor Protection Act BE 2541 has been used for a long time, thus some provisions are not suitable for the current situation and are not beneficial to operate. The new Labor Protection Act aims to make the level of employee protection reach the international standards and be more efficient. Therefore, the Labor Protection Act (No. 7) BE 2562 was announced in the Royal Thai government gazette. The key point of the new act is the better quality of life of the workers.
