Influences of Entrepreneurial Characteristics Experiencing Risk and Hierarchy Organizational Culture as Moderators Affecting Human Capital to the Performance of Small Enterprise in Footwear and Leather Goods Industry in Thailand

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study about human capital, characteristics of entrepreneur with risk, organizational culture in the chain of command, and results of small enterprise operation in Thai footwear and leather goods industry and to study about characteristics of entrepreneur with risk and organizational culture in the chain of command as a moderator controlling the influence of human capital to the results of small enterprise operation in footwear and leather goods industry in Thailand.  

The research samples included 400 entrepreneurs of small enterprises in footwear and leather goods industry in Thailand. The research tool was the questionnaires, and data analysis was to use PLS graph 3.0 program. The results of the analysis presented that the entrepreneurs had the highest opinion on organizational culture in the chain of command with the mean as 3.79, the second one was about the variables of being an entrepreneur with the risk characteristics with the mean as 3.72, the next one was the variables of organizational operation with the mean as 3.69 and the variables of human capital was with the mean as 3.66. The next step was to analyze by the structural model of the variables that influenced on the results of organizational operation founded that the influence of entrepreneurs with risk characteristics and organizational culture in the chain of command as a moderator had no influence on correlation between human capital and firm performance.
