บทคัดย่อ
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กลุ่มคนไทยในต่างประเทศสามารถแบ่งตามทฤษฎีการสื่อสารทางการเมืองของ Darren G. Lilleker ได้เป็น 4 กลุ่มคือ 1) กลุ่มเจ้าหน้าที่หรือพนักงานของรัฐ 2) กลุ่มกดดันทางการเมือง 3) กลุ่มสื่อสารมวลชน และ 4) กลุ่มประชาชน และคนไทยในต่างประเทศได้ใช้สื่อสังคมออนไลน์เพื่อการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมือง ดังนี้ 1) เปิดรับและติดตามข้อมูลข่าวสารทางการเมือง 2) แสดงความคิดเห็นทางการเมือง 3) มีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมทางการเมือง และ 4) สร้างปฏิสัมพันธ์กับกลุ่มการเมืองของตน
