Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the opinion of related persons about strategic management of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University. The researcher collected the data by in-depth interview that had the topic for interview of this research, was about the opinion of related persons of strategic management of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University from administrators, lecturers which had the involve to strategic management of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University. The sampling group gave the data about state and problem of strategic management of Mahachulalongkorn
rajavidyalaya University. The persons had the experience and specialization to strategic management of Mahachulalongkornrajavid yalaya University consisted of academicians, executives, educated lecturers and the persons who had the experience in management. The result of study the state and problem of strategic management of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University.
Findings were as follows:
For the stategy of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University found that had three matters such as 1) about the policy and plan. Strategy is like the journey indicator that the strategic plan did not come from survey and observe the personnel of university. The data did not come from the survey from personnel development clearly before drafting the strategic plan that the data was not the empirical data. 2. The issue about working according to strategy of organization. The essence of working according to organization which spend much money and the high risky budget and also risky strategy. The university issued the many policies, some policy can use and some could not. Because it was the ideality and the risk of strategy improperly to the nature of organization. 3. The potentiality of personnel which plan of university, had the measure or practical issue could not really practice. Some issue could practice but could not succeed due to objective because it was not proper to nature of organization. Moreover, personnel development plan, financial plan and budgetary plan is drafting. The management use the annual expenditure plan as the main principle like how much money or budget, should work along with the remaining budgetary frame and no long term strategic plan.
