The Tourist-hostel Model in the Full Regional Cycle According to the Principle of Sufficient Economy

Abstract

          This objectives of this research were: 1) to study the context of enterprise community in the aspect of building tourist hostels to stay in the region where there is a full cycle of sufficient economy; 2) to build the tourist-hostel model in the full regional cycle according to the proper principle of sufficient economy; and 3) to spread out and pass on technology of building tourist-hostel in the full regional cycle according to the principle of sufficient economy. The research sample groups are; for instance, land owners, the owners of tourist-hostels in the region, enterprise community, and 160 tourists by choosing the samples specifically and easily. The collective information is made by in-depth interviews and the questionnaires of 5 levels of measurement. The research tools are in-depth interviewing questions, questionnaire questions asking opinions on tourist-hostel building in the full regional cycle, the questions in the questionnaires asking about satisfaction towards the tourist-hostel model in the full regional cycle.The data were statistically analyzed and present by percentage, mean and standard deviation.

          The finding of this research were as follows : 1) the opinions of the sample groups towards the context situation of enterprise community in the type of regional tourist-hostel construction and the basic physical characteristics of the regions or communities in the areas of Bangkok, Nakornpathom, Samutprakarn and Samutsongkram were the most appropriate levels (  = 4.95, S.D = 0.13) 2) The building of the tourist-hostel model in the full regional cycle according to the sufficiency economy philosophy  is appropriate to the region, beautiful, suitable for community context, low cost with proper prices of construction materials, convenient to move, worth and economized, full of utilities, convenience and harmonized with the nature and the community ways of lives. 3) The overall image of the sample groups, who received the passed technology on the tourist-hostel model building in full regional cycle according to the sufficiency economy philosophy and were satisfied with the tourist-hostel model in the full regional cycle of sufficiency economy philosophy was appropriate in the most level (  = 4.96, S.D = 0.11).
