Advocating Intrepretivism to Understand EFL Learners and Their Learning

Abstract
Frequently adopting an interpretive mode of inquiry to conducting classroom research, the writer attempts to reflect on the vigour of this methodology in investigating EFL learners’ perceptions of their English learning in various dimensions. This paper then addresses the implications for English language learning and teaching practices in Thailand and for university practices.
