Development of Smart Organization According to the Doctrine in Paharada Sutta

Abstract

The purpose of this paper was to study a development of an organization according to the Buddha’s teaching in Paharada Sutta, Suttanta Pitaka. From Paharada Sutta, the Buddha focused on the importance of human resource in an organization and the relationship between “human” and “work”. He showed that the development of human resource with a clear purpose would make an administration of organization effective and productive succeed.  Therefore, Human resource is very important to an organization and it needs to be developed with well education, discipline, morality, loyalty, equality, unity, efficiency, and quality. These will make an organization stable succeed and develop it to “Excellent Organization” or “Smart Organization”.
