Abstract
King Mahavijita was fully endowed with the treasure of wealth and
the treasure of human entourage, and he wished for these treasures to last as long
as he was alive. He therefore thought of a method that was popular at that time,
which was to offer a sacrifi ce in order to please the deities who he believed were
responsible for this success.
