Corruption in the Thai Bureaucracy : The Protection and Solution Approach

Abstract

    Corruption of public officials is the oldest problem of all societies in the world, it was caused the political authority was under the centralized system especially Thai social in the past, there lead to opened the way for authorities to keep some of them as their own and some are sent to the central government or the king. Therefore, the Culture taxation likes this so that if lead to contribute to corruption in the days following.  The important factors that cause corruption in Thai bureaucracy consisted of three aspects; (1) the attitude of various professional groups in Thailand, (2) the Thai Bureaucracy, and (3) the efficiency of Thai Bureaucracy system. However, The protection and solution approach should be ; (1) the building values of ethics and unprofessional conduct of individuals, and (2) promoting good governance for Thai bureaucracy continually.
