The Application of Digital Technology for Administrative Management in the Sathon District Office

Abstract
This research article aims to: (1) examine the level of digital technology application in administrative management at Sathon District Office, and (2) compare personnel’s opinions regarding such applications, classified by personal factors, based on the digital government framework. This study adopted a quantitative research approach. Data were collected from 400 personnel working at the Sathon District Office using a questionnaire as the research instrument. The data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and One-way ANOVA.
The findings reveal that: (1) the overall level of digital technology application in administrative management at the Sathon District Office was high ( = 4.03). When considered by dimension, human resource management had the highest mean score, reflecting the use of digital technology in personnel data management, benefits administration, and human resource processes, which enhance efficiency, accuracy, and speed of operations. This was followed by public service operations and budget management, while general administration had the lowest mean score; and (2) The comparison of digital technology application levels based on personal factors showed that personnel with different genders, ages, education levels, job positions, and monthly incomes had significantly different opinions. However, personnel with different lengths of work experience did not show significant differences in their opinions.
