Abstract

The research article aimed to achieve the following objectives: (1) to investigate the factors influencing digital leadership among school administrators; (2) to analyze factors influencing digital leadership among school administrators; and (3) to develop guidelines for enhancing digital leadership in school administrators. The study population comprised school administrators from Phrapariyattidham Secondary Schools under the General Education Department. Employing proportional stratified random sampling, a sample of 463 participants was selected. This study utilized a multi-phase mixed-methods design. In Phase 1, qualitative data were collected through semi-structured interviews with seven experts to validate the variables and components identified from the documentary review. In Phase 3, in-depth interviews and evaluation forms were administered to seven experts to verify the developed guidelines for digital leadership enhancement. For the quantitative component in Phase 2, a questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.98 was employed. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics, including means and standard deviations, as well as structural equation modeling.

The study resulted in the following key findings: 1) Four primary factors were identified as influencing digital leadership among school administrators; 2) The analysis revealed that all four factors exhibited high average scores, ranked in descending order as follows: communication, organizational culture, transformational leadership, and motivation. The structural equation model demonstrated a good fit with the empirical data, as indicated by the following fit indices: Chi-square = 86.92, df = 84, p = 0.39, GFI = 0.99, AGFI = 0.95, RMSEA = 0.01, and RMR = 0.01; and 3) Based on these findings, the proposed guidelines for developing digital leadership among educational administrators were categorized into four key dimensions: transformational leadership, communication, motivation, and organizational culture. These guidelines are considered practical and applicable for the effective enhancement of digital leadership competencies among school administrators.
