The Development Process of Communication Skills among Personnel of the Bangbuth Sub-District Administrative Organization by Buddhist Peaceful Means

Abstract

The objectives of this research are as follows; 1. To study and analyze the problems, context, needs, and theoretical concepts for developing communication skills among personnel according to modern sciences. 2. To study and analyze the Buddhist peaceful principles that support the process of developing communication skills among personnel of the Bangbuth Subdistrict Administrative Organization. 3. To develop and present a communication development process for personnel of the Bangbuth Subdistrict Administrative Organization using Buddhist Peaceful Means. This research was conducted based on the framework of the Noble Truth Model using the 9-step ladder approach of the Peace Studies Program of the Graduate School, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University.


The research results were found that: 1. The communication problems faced by the personnel include: 1) The lack of appropriate communication methods within the organization. 2) The lack of professional communication skills. 3) The lack of skills in managing communication conflicts. 4) The absence of teamwork tools for building relationships among personnel in the organization. 5) The inability to control negative emotions during communication. 6) The lack of a foundation in communication according to Buddhist Peaceful Means. 2. Buddhist Peaceful Means that support the communication development process for personnel at the Bangbuth Subdistrict Administrative Organization are based on the Four Sangahavatthu (principles of sociability). These principles are designed to address the causes of suffering within the target group, acting as a moral anchor for personnel's communication dimensions. 3. The process for developing communication skills among personnel at the Bangbuth Subdistrict Administrative Organization using Buddhist Peaceful Means introduces new knowledge in the form of the SM MR CF RT HD Model.
