Development of the Training Program for Enhancing Blended Learning Approach Instructional Management Competencies for Private School Teachers under Office of Yasothon Provincial Education Commission

Abstract
The research article consisted of the following objectives: 1) to investigate problems and the needs for blended learning approach instructional management competencies for private school teachers; and 2) to develop the training program and experiment the training program for enhancing blended learning approach instructional management competencies for private school teachers. The study employed a research and development method. The sample group included teachers under the Office of the Private Education Commission in Yasothon Province, who were chosen by random sampling method. The tools used for the study were questionnaire and evaluation form. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean (), and t-test.
From the study, the following results were found: 1) From investigating problems and the needs for blended learning approach instructional management competencies for private school teachers, the results reveal that both problems ( = 4.62) and needs (
= 4.75) are at the highest level. 2) The training program consists of the following seven components: principles, objectives, competencies, content, training activities, media and learning sources, measurement and evaluation. From experimenting the training program, the results reveal that the experiment group has competencies higher than the control group with a statistical significance of .01. The teachers’ satisfaction toward the use of training program is at the highest level (
= 4.62).
