Strategies for Converting Knowledge into Practice for Community Economic Development Based on Tai Lue Cultural Wisdom

Abstract
The research article aimed at presenting strategies for transforming local wisdom into practice for community economy development based on Tai Lue cultural wisdom. The study used a mixed-method approach, with the following three phases: 1) drafting strategies for transforming local wisdom into practice for community economy development based on Tai Lue cultural wisdom. Two workshops were conducted: the first one was to analyze the environmental factors by using a population and sample group of 25 persons, the second one was to draft the strategies for transforming local wisdom into practice for community economy development based on Tai Lue cultural wisdom; 2) examining the draft strategies by using connoisseurship with 7 experts; and 3) assessing the revised strategies for transforming local wisdom into practice for community economy development based on Tai Lue cultural wisdom by 25 experts to check the congruence, propriety, feasibility, and utilization. From the study, it is found that there are five strategies for transforming local wisdom into practice for community economy development based on Tai Lue cultural wisdom which are: 1) designing the products from local wisdom of Tai Lue culture; 2) producing products from local wisdom of Tai Lue culture; 3) building a startup based on local wisdom of Tai Lue culture. The strategies for transforming local wisdom into practice for community economy development based on Tai Lue cultural wisdom have a high level of congruence, propriety, feasibility, and utilization.
