A Guideline for the Use of Consulting Services in Industrial Business for Sustainable Success

Abstract

This article is intended to study the guidelines of using consultant for business sustainable success. Quantitative and qualitative research methods were employed in this study. The quantitative data were obtained from interviewing 500 executives that used consultant services by questionnaire instrument. Data was analyzed by descriptive analysis by using AMOS statistical analysis program. The finding indicated that guidelines for using consultant for industrial business sustainable consisted of 4 aspects; consultant characteristic, policy, resource sharing, and information technology. The analysis of the developed structure equation model showed that it was in accordance and in harmony with the empirical data and passed the evaluation criteria. Its Chi-square probability level, relative Chi-square, goodness of fit index, and root mean square error of approximation were 0.064, 1.147, 0.957 and 0.017 respectively.
