Abstract

The purposes of this research are to study 1) The Buddhist Group Behavior of Burmese Immigrant Workers. 2) The Development in Quality of Life and the network of Burmese migrant workers. and 3) Offer guidance for quality of life by buddhist group behavior of Burmese migrant workers. By used Mixed Method Research and used McClelland (1961) theory, behavioralism theory, and theory of Buddhism. The research found that; There are more Burmese migrants who come to work in Thailand than other ethnic groups. And most live in Samut Sakhon province. The nature of the coming into being is legal and not legal. This Research random data from 400 Burmese migrant workers. found that; The most are more male than female, The age range between 20-30 years, Single, Monthly income 5,000-10,000 baht, The education level is in elementary school. When analyzing motives of Burmese migrants found that; Buddhist group of motivation in objective 10 of Burmese migrant workers have average was 3.67, So this means the motivation is at a high level. And Buddhist group behavior on behavioral motives of Burmese migrant workers. The mean was 3.76, So this means the motivation is at a high level too. Also found; The quality of life of Burmese migrants is fourfold 1) Culture of housing and environment 2) Culture of consumption 3) Culture of health and 4) Culture of clothes.This four cultures link and consistent with the principles of Bhavana 4; 1) Kaya-bhavana (Physical development) 2) Sila- bhavana (Moral development) 3) Citta- bhavana (Emotional development) and 4) Panna- bhavana (Intellectual development) In addition, there are three problems; 1. Drugs 2. Scramble the occupation of the Thai people and 3) National security, The research found eight solutions are 1) Settlement area 2) Private partnership 3) Government planned and suppressed 4) Public sector cooperation 5) NGO see the benefits 6) Public health impregnable 7) Promote education and culture and 8) Tabulate social.
