Abstract

The objectives of this research were to (1) Level of Work-Life Balance of the employees in academic field, Ramkhamhaeng University and (2) Development of Work-Life Balance of the employees in academic field, Ramkhamhaeng University. This research is a descriptive research, included (1) quantitative research and (2) qualitative research. An instruments of research was a five-rating scale questionnaire and a structure of an interview questions came from a results of an analysis of questionnaire of this research.


The results of the study revealed that (1) The mean levels of the Work-Life Balance of the employees in academic field, Ramkhamhaeng University under study were found to be evinced at a moderate level. Thet highest means seriatim was the flexible work programs ans the lowest means seriatim was the financial support programs. (2) The results from an interviews concluded that the flexible work programs, top managements should plan for a man power and plan for courses schedule before an academic term. A team working on courses schedule must to be done by employees in academic field, Ramkhamhaeng University. And the financial support programs, Ramkhamhaeng University have policies for this but lack of communications and public relations to employees in academic field to acknowledge and understand a financial support policy. Compensation management, job weight and performance management system, should be deploy to any faculties of Ramkhamhaeng University to be a good governance in an organization.
