An Application of Mindfulness to Develop Manufacture Labour’s Work with Happiness: A Case Study of Continental Knitting Ltd., Part.

Abstract
The objectives of this research are: 1) to study working problems affected in the
working and the way of living of the labours in Continental Knitting Ltd., 2) to study the
principle of mindfulness in Theravada Buddhism, and 3) to apply the principle of
mindfulness for development of working with happiness of labours in department of
manufacturing of Continental Knitting Ltd. This research is interdisciplinary research
between qualitative and field-work research. As a result, the problem is that labours in department of manufacturing still lack of concentration and mindfulness. They are not aware of the problems and mistakes that will affect the organization. To solve the problems, principle of mindfulness was applied to
labours by training in the project of activities, i.e. praying, meditating together for
awareness, attentiveness, remembering, doing every action with care, being responsible
without neglect, awakening while working, careful considering, deliberateness, and
preventing mistake. By this project, the labours are chilled out, discreet, not aggressive,
able to control oneself, and reasonable. They carefully communicate with one another
and have more sympathy towards one another. Furthermore, the damage of products
from the mistake have done in past are less than afterward. The working efficiency is
qualified.
