The Model of Dynamic Capabilities of Small and Medium Enterprises in Thai Transportation Business

Abstract

This research aims to develop model the dynamic capabilities model of small and medium enterprises in Thai transportation business. The sample for this research as a group of owner, manager, staff and employee totaling 420 subjects which were selected by multi-stage sampling method. Data was collected by questionnaires distributed during April-June 2016 and questionnaires were returned or being equal to the response rate 100%. The data was analyzed by Structural Equation Model: SEM. Findings from the research showed that model of dynamic capabilities of small and medium enterprises in Thai transportation business or DCT model simulations are consistent with empirical data based on a harmonized index of 6 indexes of accepted criteria. The index is: c2/df = 0.478, CFI = 0.999, GFI = 0.99, AGFI = 0.970, RMSEA = 0.000 และ SRMR = 0.032. The DCT model which includes five core elements and 13 sub-elements as follows: (1) Intellectual capital has three components. (2) Innovation has three components. (3) Environmental dynamic has two components. (4) Dynamic capabilities has three components. Finally (5) Competitive advantage has two components.
