A Participative Learning Management Model in Promoting the Five Precepts in Schools Under Primary Education Service Area Office

Abstract
The purposes of this research were; 1) to study the status of participatory teaching and learning in order to promote the preservation of the 5 precepts in schools under Office of Primary Educational Service Area, 2) to develop a model of participatory teaching and learning to promote the preservation of the 5 precepts in schools under Office of Primary Educational Service Area, and 3) to propose a model of participatory teaching and learning to promote the preservation of the 5 precepts in schools under Office of Primary Educational Service Area. The mixed research methodology was used in the study.
The results of the study found that:
- The status of participatory teaching and learning to promote the preservation of the 5 precepts in schools under Office of Primary Educational Service Area was at a high level overall. In each aspect consideration, it was found that the teaching activity was at the highest level, followed by curriculum preparation, learning measurement and evaluation, planning, learning management, and teaching media respectively.
- Development of a participatory teaching and learning model to promote the preservation of the 5 precepts in schools under Office of Primary Educational Service Area consisted of 6 steps; 1) Principle, 2) Purpose, 3) Implementation System, 4) Implementation Process, 5) Evaluation, and 6) Conditions of Success.
- The results of the proposed model of participatory teaching and learning to promote the preservation of the 5 precepts in schools under Office of Primary Educational Service Area indicated that the format is appropriate and possible at the highest level overall. In aspect, the appropriateness of Purpose, and the possibility of System implementation were at the highest level.
