การสอนทักษะการให้เหตุผลเชิงจริยธรรมในระดับอุดมศึกษา

บทคัดย่อ
บทความวิชาการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่ออธิบายว่าการให้เหตุผลเชิงจริยธรรมเป็นกระบวนการที่ทั้งสามารถสอนและเรียนรู้ได้ และจะช่วยทำให้การตัดสินใจอยู่บนพื้นฐานของหลักการทางจริยธรรมและความสมเหตุสมผล การพัฒนาทักษะการให้เหตุผลเชิงจริยธรรมสำหรับบุคคลจึงมีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่ง ทั้งสำหรับการดำเนินชีวิตและการสร้างสังคมที่มีจริยธรรม โดยปัจจัยสำคัญที่เป็นอุปสรรคต่อการให้เหตุผล เชิงจริยธรรมคือแนวโน้มตามธรรมชาติของมนุษย์ที่จะให้เหตุผลในแบบที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อตนเอง โดยแนวโน้มนี้จะยิ่งทวีความรุนแรงขึ้นเมื่อบุคคลสับสนเกี่ยวกับหลักการทางจริยธรรม ตลอดจนการที่บุคคลไม่สามารถรับรู้ได้ว่าตนเองกำลังเผชิญกับประเด็นปัญหาที่มีมิติทางจริยธรรม อย่างไรก็ตาม มีหลักฐานเชิงประจักษ์ค่อนข้างมากชี้ว่า ทักษะการให้เหตุผลเชิงจริยธรรมสามารถสอนได้อย่างประสบความสำเร็จในระดับอุดมศึกษา โดยวิธีการสอนการให้เหตุผลเชิงจริยธรรมในระดับอุดมศึกษาควรใช้ทั้งวิธีการสอนแบบบรรยายและใช้กรณีศึกษา เนื่องจากเป็นวิธีการสอนที่จะทำให้ผู้เรียนได้รับทั้งความรู้ที่จำเป็นและเรียนรู้การประยุกต์ใช้ความรู้เหล่านั้นในสถานการณ์และบริบทต่างๆ
