The journal charges an article review fee of 3,000 THB per article after the manuscript has passed the initial review by the editorial board and proceeds to the peer review process. This policy has been in effect since April 13, 2023.
However, the journal will waive the review fee for articles submitted to the system between March 1, 2025 and February 28, 2026.

The Journal of Liberal Arts, Ubon Ratchathani University would like to inform of the following updates regarding the journal's publication details:
- The journal has discontinued the use of the previous International Standard Serial Number ISSN: 1686-5596 (Print) and E-ISSN: 2697-6358 (Online).
- Starting from Volume 21, Issue 1 (January – June 2025), the journal will be published exclusively in an online format under a new ISSN: 3057-1499 (Online).

1. เป็นบทความวิจัย บทความวิชาการ หรือบทความปริทัศน์หนังสือ (Book Review) ด้านสังคมศาสตร์ สังคมวิทยา มานุษยวิทยา วัฒนธรรมศึกษา ประวัติศาสตร์ วรรณคดี วรรณกรรมศึกษา นิเทศศาสตร์ ภาษาศาสตร์ และศึกษาศาสตร์
2. เป็นบทความภาษาไทยหรือบทความภาษาอังกฤษ ในกรณีเป็นบทความภาษาอังกฤษต้องผ่านการตรวจสอบความถูกต้องจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านภาษา ก่อนส่งบทความมายังกองบรรณาธิการ
3. ต้องเป็นบทความที่ไม่เคยตีพิมพ์เผยแพร่ที่ใดมาก่อน
4. เป็นบทความที่ไม่ได้อยู่ระหว่างการพิจารณาตีพิมพ์ หรือไม่ได้อยู่ระหว่างการพิจารณาของสื่อสิ่งพิมพ์อื่นๆ และไม่เคยตีพิมพ์ในวารสารใดมาก่อนทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ หากตรวจสอบพบว่ามีการตีพิมพ์ซ้ำซ้อน ถือเป็นความรับผิดชอบของผู้เขียนแต่เพียงผู้เดียว
5. เป็นบทความที่แสดงให้เห็นถึงความคิดริเริ่มสร้างสรรค์ มีคุณค่าทางวิชาการ มีความสมบูรณ์ของเนื้อหา และมีความถูกต้องตามหลักวิชาการ
6. ผู้อ่านจะต้องจัดเตรียมต้นฉบับตามรูปแบบที่วารสารกำหนด (ข้อกำหนดการจัดเตรียมต้นฉบับ)

1. The proposed article for publication must not have been published and is not in the process of pending publication in any journal or printed matter.
2. The original draft of the proposed article can be written in Thai or English, and the abstract of the article must be submitted in both Thai and English.
3. The length of the original draft of the article should not exceed 30 pages of A5 size using Microsoft Word (Template https://www.ubu.ac.th/web/files_up/00102f2020032709521936.docx)).
4. The proposed article should be formatted using THsarabun PSK font type, size 14 Point.
5. The important components of the article are as follows:
5.1 Title of the article in both Thai and English
5.2 Abstract of the article written in both Thai and English and no more than 15 lines in length combined
5.3 No more than six keywords (both written in Thai and English)
5.4 Author’s name should be written both in Thai and English, including the position (e.g., teacher, student), and organization (e.g., Faculty of Liberal Arts, Ubon Ratchathani University)
6. The proposed article that is written in English, including the English abstract, must be reviewed by language experts before submitting it to the editors.
7. References must be formatted according to APA Style, 7th edition. Example
For sources originally written in Thai, authors are required to translate the reference information into English. Please refer to previous issues of the journal for examples of proper formatting and translation style.
8. When submitting an article, indicate the author's name and surname, position and affiliation, phone number, and email addresses.
9. The articles submitted for publication will be reviewed by two experts. If the experts’ opinions are not in agreement, the opinion of the journal editor will be final.
10. In case the proposed article is not selected for publication, the author will be notified by the editor, but the original draft of the proposed article will not be returned.
11. In case there are images or diagrams in the proposed article, attach separate copies of files to the article. The files should be submitted in JPG file format and their sizes should be between 500kb-1500kb.
