Evidence-based Library and Information Practice หรือ EBLIP เป็นกระบวนทัศน์ใหม่ในการทำงานที่เป็นระบบของวงการห้องสมุดและสารสนทเศที่นักสารสนเทศนานาชาติให้ความสนใจมานานนับ 10 ปีแล้ว การปฏิบัติงานทางห้องสมุดและสารสนเทศเชิงประจักษ์เป็นการปฏิบัติงานที่ผสมผสานระหว่างหลักฐานที่น่าเชื่อถือและประสบการณ์ความชำนาญในวิชาชีพของนัการสนเทศและความเหมาสะมอื่นๆ จากกการที่ห้องสมุดหลายแห่งในต่างประเทศได้ปฏิบัติงานโดยใช้การปฏิบัติงานทางห้องสมุดและสารสนเทศเชิงประจักษ์มาแล้ว พบว่า มีสาระสำคัญและประโยชน์ที่เห็นได้ทั้งปัญหา/อุปสรรค์ที่ได้จากการใช้การปฏิบัติงานทางห้องสมุดและสารสนเทศเชิงประจักษ์ นอกจากนี้ความนิยมในการใช้การปฏิบัติงานทางห้อสมุดและสารสนเทศเชิงประจักษ์ มีแนวโน้มจะสูงขึ้นและได้รับการยอมรับในอนาคต

Abstract

Evidence-Based Library and Information Practice or EBLIP is a new systematic working paradigm that has been captivated by international librarians and information professionals for about 10 years. Evidence-Based Librarian and Information Practice is a working process that integrates creditable evidence with professional skills and experiences of librarian and information professionals and other related elements. Through working with this new systematic working paradigm, EBLIP, many libraries throughout the world found both advantages and disadvantages and disadvantages of this new paradigm. However, in the future, Evidence-Based Librarian and Information Practice tends to increasingly gain popularity among librarians and information professionals.
