ความรู้ความสามารถที่พึงประสงค์ของนักสารสนเทศ ในกระบวนการพยาบาลเชิงประจักษ์ (The Desirable Competencies of Information Professional in Evidence-Based Nursing)

บทคัดย่อ

     การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความรู้ความสามารถที่พึงประสงค์ของ นักสารสนเทศในกระบวนการพยาบาลเชิงประจักษ์ โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างในการศึกษา มี 2 กลุ่ม ประกอบด้วย ผู้ใช้บริการ จำนวน 405 คน และผู้ให้บริการ จำนวน 80 คน รวม 485 คน เครื่องมือ ที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบสอบถาม จำนวน 2 ชุด ได้รับแบบสอบถามกลับ จำนวน 353 ชุด คิดเป็น ร้อยละ 72.78 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยค่าสถิติ ร้อยละ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า ความรู้ความสามารถที่จำเป็นของนักสารสนเทศผู้ให้บริการแก่ผู้ใช้บริการกลุ่ม อาจารย์และผู้ปฏิบัติการพยาบาลขั้นสูงซึ่งมีความต้องการสารสนเทศที่มีลักษณะเป็น หลักฐานเชิงประจักษ์ทางการพยาบาลเพื่อใช้ในการเรียนการสอน และพัฒนาคุณภาพ การปฏิบัติทางการพยาบาล โดยความรู้ความสามารถที่พึงประสงค์ของนักสารสนเทศ มีดังนี้ 1) ความรู้ความสามารถด้านวิชาชีพ ในด้านการจัดการสารสนเทศ ซึ่งประกอบ ไปด้วยความรู้ความสามารถในการคัดเลือก/จัดหาทรัพยากรสารสนเทศพื้นฐานทางการ พยาบาลและสารสนเทศที่มีลักษณะเป็นหลักฐานเชิงประจักษ์ทางการพยาบาล โดยจัด ช่องทางให้ผู้ใช้บริการสามารถเสนอแนะรายการทรัพยากรที่ควรจัดหา ทั้งนี้ นักสารสนเทศ ควรมีความรู้พื้นฐานทางการพยาบาล และความรู้เกี่ยวกับสารสนเทศทางการพยาบาล โดยนักสารสนเทศควรมีความรู้ความสามารถในการจัดระบบและพัฒนาเครื่องมือในการ สืบค้นสารสนเทศ และสามารถจัดบริการเพื่อช่วยเหลือผู้ใช้บริการให้สามารถเข้าถึงและ ใช้สารสนเทศหรือหลักฐานเชิงประจักษ์ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ โดยอาศัยเทคโนโลยี สารสนเทศในการให้บริการ 2) ความรู้ความสามารถเฉพาะด้านต่างๆ เช่น ด้านการสื่อสาร นักสารสนเทศควรมีทักษะในการสื่อสารที่ดี สามารถนำเสนอข้อมูลที่กระชับ เข้าใจง่าย ด้านภาษา ควรมีความรู้ในภาษาอังกฤษ และศัพท์เฉพาะทางการพยาบาลที่สามารถส่ง ผลต่อประสิทธิภาพในการค้นหาและคัดกรองสารสนเทศให้แก่ผู้ใช้บริการ ด้านการจัดการ ควรมีความรู้ความสามารถในการทำงานเป็นทีมร่วมกับผู้ใช้บริการ ความรู้ความสามารถ ที่นักสารสนเทศควรมีอีกประการหนึ่งคือความรู้เกี่ยวกับประเภทการวิจัยทางการแพทย์ และการพยาบาล เพื่อให้สามารถช่วยเหลือผู้ใช้บริการในการค้นหา คัดเลือก และ คัดกรองสารสนเทศให้แก่ผู้ใช้ได้อย่างเหมาะสม และผู้ให้บริการควรมีความรู้ความสามารถ ในกระบวนการพยาบาลเชิงประจักษ์ด้วย

Abstract

        This study aims to investigate the competencies of information professional in evidence-based nursing practice. The total number of the sample is 485, divided into two groups including 405 service-users and 80 information service providers. The data were collected from the two sets of questionnaire. The total of 353 questionnaires was returned, totaling 72.78%. Percentage is used for the statistical analysis. The competencies of information professionals in order to provide the service to university personnel, especially lecturers and advanced practice nurse who required\ a wide range of practical knowledge for their curriculums. The specifi c knowledge covers the following areas: 1) Professional competence for information management in terms of recruiting/selecting the resources of fundamental nursing evidence-based information. The users are offered the lists of information as requested. By doing this, the information professionals are required to be familiar with nursing knowledge. Moreover, they should be able to organize the system and maintain the good conditions of search engine. Also, they are expected to assist the users to access the information with the existing technological tools effectively, so-called the evidence-based information. 2) The various specifi c competencies are as follows: communication – it is needed for the effi cient presentation, language skill – this refers to English communication skills and technical terms to provide more effective searching and screening, management – it means the team-work conditions, particular knowledge in nursing and medicine – it is mainly required to assist the users in selecting and screening their preferred information in an evidence-based way.
