The Use of Questioning Techniques to Develop Thai Speaking Skill of Students from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies

Abstract
This experimental research aimed to develop Thai speaking skill for Chinese students from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. The questioning techniques were used as a tool to help participating students enhance their speaking abilities. The tool consisted of questioning techniques incorporated lesson plans, preset speech evaluation form, self-assessment speech test, and a questionnaires. Data were collected and analyzed in percentage.
Findings showed that the average score of five implementation of speech evaluation was at 83 ranking the highest category (80-100). The average score from self-evaluation of participants was at 82.17 ranking the highest category, and the average score of self-assessment speech test was at 82.26 ranking the highest category. In regard to opinions on the questioning techniques, the participating students showed high satisfaction at the level of 64.70%. It concluded that this the questioning techniques can use for teaching efficiently.
