This research, the Royal Biography of King Taksin the Great in the viewpoint of culture hero, found that there were 17 situations in the Royal Biography of King Taksin the Great that resembled Greek heroes who were well-known in the ancient tradition. The 17 situations’ examples were given as follows: his mother was the virtuous princess, his father was the King, his birth was stranger than normal because it was truly said the he was the son of a goddess, and when he was born, he was in harm many times by his father and others who were desired to cause harm to him. All these situations implied that, though the Royal Biography of King Taksin the Great was unclear and puzzling nowadays, Siamese still would like to know the story of King Taksin the Great who is the hero of the country. His heroness included not only power or bravery but also his sacrifice. King Taksin the Great sacrificed his life for the country. This was the one thing implying to his true heroness.
