บทคัดย่อ
เมืองโบราณศรีเทพและโบราณสถานในสมัยทวารวดีที่เกี่ยวข้อง ได้รับการขึ้นทะเบียนเป็นมรดกโลกโดยองค์การการศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ และวัฒนธรรมแห่งสหประชาชาติ (UNESCO) ส่งผลให้เกิดการรับรู้และความสนใจในวงกว้าง โดยเฉพาะในสื่อสังคมออนไลน์ มีการผลิตสื่อและการสืบค้นคำว่า “เมืองศรีเทพ” อย่างแพร่หลาย งานวิจัยฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสรุปสาระสำคัญของเนื้อหาที่ผู้ส่งสารนำเสนอ และวิเคราะห์การรับรู้ผ่านแนวโน้มความคิดเห็นของผู้รับสารผ่านความคิดเห็นในแพลตฟอร์ม YouTube จากวิดีโอจำนวน 68 รายการ โดยใช้วิธีการสรุปสาระสำคัญและการวิเคราะห์คำด้วยเทคนิค Word Clouds ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้ส่งสารนำเสนอข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับประวัติศาสตร์ ลักษณะภูมิประเทศ ผังเมือง ศิลปกรรม โบราณสถาน วัฒนธรรม ศาสนา และความเชื่อ ในขณะที่การวิเคราะห์ความคิดเห็นของผู้รับสารสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงการรับรู้ข้อมูลทางภูมิศาสตร์ อารยธรรม วัฒนธรรม อัตลักษณ์ ความสนใจในการแสวงหาข้อเท็จจริง และการแสดงทัศนคติและอารมณ์ การศึกษานี้แสดงให้เห็นถึงศักยภาพของการวิเคราะห์ภาษาด้วยคอมพิวเตอร์ในการทำความเข้าใจแนวคิดและการตอบสนองต่อประเด็นต่าง ๆ ที่ปรากฏในสื่อสังคมออนไลน์ ซึ่งถือเป็นแหล่งข้อมูลภาษาขนาดใหญ่ นอกจากนี้ ผลการศึกษายังชี้ให้เห็นว่า แม้จะมีข้อมูลจากนักวิชาการให้ถูกต้องตามหลักฐานทางโบราณคดีและประวัติศาสตร์สมัยใหม่ ความเข้าใจเดิมที่ได้รับการถ่ายทอดจากแหล่งข้อมูลในอดีตยังคงได้รับความนิยมและความเชื่อถืออยู่ ตัวอย่างที่ชัดเจนคือ ความเข้าใจที่คลาดเคลื่อนในการใช้ชื่อเรียกกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์และวัฒนธรรม “ขอม” กับ “เขมร” ในอดีต
