The Journal of Humanities Naresuan University (JHNU) is accepting articles for consideration for publication in 2026 from 1 October 2025 onwards.

📅 2026 Publication Schedule:

- Volume 23, Issue 1 (January – April 2026) *closed*
- Volume 23, Issue 2 (May – August 2026) *closed*
- Volume 23, Issue 3 (September – December 2026) *📌Current queue*

6-Step from submission to acceptance

Step 1: The author submits an article to Thaijo

Step 2: JHNU reviews the article (pre-review) within 1-2 weeks

• a. If it does not pass, JHNU will decline the article.
• b. If there are suggestions for corrections, JHNU will notify the author to proceed within 2 weeks and return to step 1.
• c. If the article passes the pre-review, JHNU will notify the author (only external) to pay the fee and submit the article for peer review. (see more: Announcement of the fee rate for submitting articles for publication)

Step 3: The peer reviewers review the article within 4 weeks

• a. If 2 out of 3 reviewers recommend "Decline Submission", JHNU will decline the article and send the review results and suggestions to the author.
• b. If the article passes the peer review, JHNU will send the review results to the author for revision.

Step 4: The author revises the article according to the suggestions within 2 weeks.

Step 5: JHNU reviews the revised article for 1-2 weeks.

• a. If the author receives review results "Resubmit for Review" from any reviewer,  return to step 3.
• b. If there are additional suggestions, JHNU will notify the author to revise the article and return to step 4.

Step 6: Accept for publication
