The Correlation Between Competencies of the School Administrators and Academic Administration in School under Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 3

Abstract

This Article aimed to study (1) the competencies of school administrators under the Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 3.(2) to examine the academic administration of schools under the Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. (3) to explore the relationship between the competencies of school administrators and the academic administration of school administrators under the Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. the sample consisted of 335 school administrators and teachers under the Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, selected through stratified random sampling, with position as the stratification criterion. The research tool was a questionnaire with content validity between 0.60 and 1.00 and an overall reliability of 0.990. The statistics used in the study included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson's correlation coefficient.


The research results were found as follows;


1.The overall competency of school administrators under the Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 was high. The highest average was found in service excellence and teamwork.


2.The overall academic administration of schools under the same office was also high. The highest average was in teaching and learning management.


3.The relationship between the competencies of school administrators and academic administration showed a very high positive correlation (rxy = .807) with statistical significance at the .01 level.
