The education system must not only develop skills in science and technology following the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) framework but also integrate these disciplines with Islamic principles and Halal standards to create a learning experience that aligns with the social and cultural context of the learners. However, integrating STEM with Islamic principles remains a significant challenge in terms of curriculum design, teaching methodologies, and content development that seamlessly incorporates religious values. The lack of educational resources and trained personnel proficient in this integrated teaching approach has resulted in limited opportunities for students in the region to develop scientific and technological skills that align with their identity. To address this issue, the Hi-STEM (Halal and Islamic principles integrated with STEM) approach has been developed as a learning model that combines STEM knowledge with Islamic values and Halal concepts. This integration ensures that education in the southern border provinces progresses while maintaining the religious and cultural foundations of the community.
The application of STEM education in Thailand’s southern border provinces holds particular significance, as it must incorporate Islamic principles and Halal standards to align with the local population’s cultural and religious background. Hi-STEM focuses on creating a challenging and meaningful learning experience that meets the needs of entrepreneurs in the region. It plays a crucial role in enhancing scientific, technological, engineering, and mathematical competencies while fostering a deep understanding of Islamic principles, which are essential aspects of students’ daily lives. This integration makes learning more relevant and sustainable, enabling students to apply their knowledge and skills effectively in real-world problem-solving. Additionally, Hi-STEM promotes critical thinking, creativity,
Muhammadameen Hajihama, Ismail Raob Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Educational Innovation and Research https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jeir/article/view/285283 Sun, 28 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Educational Administration Promoting in Accordance with The Law on Ethical Standards for Personnel in Thai Higher Education Institutions https://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jeir/article/view/284229
This academic article aims to present the educational administration Promoting in accordance with the law on ethical standards for personnel in Thai higher education institutions; 1) Promoting personnel to express pride in preserving government interests related to the nation, religion, and the monarchy, adhering to moral principles in working with principles of morality in working together; 2) Promoting personnel to work honestly and in accordance with the law, not using government time to pursue other careers or seek personal benefits; 3) Promoting personnel to make decisions to work correctly by adhering to the principles of the law on ethical standards, daring to oppose or dispute incorrect or unlawful orders, and not slandering others to cause damage; 4) Promoting personnel to work with a focus on public interest more than personal interest, having public spirit, determination, and sacrifice; 5) Promoting personnel to work with a focus on achieving work results to achieve quality according to the goals to the best of their ability, using government resources and budgets economically and cost-effectively, and developing and improving work methods to meet high standards; 6) Promoting personnel to perform their duties with fairness, without prejudice towards colleagues, without discrimination or providing educational services through personal relationships; and 7) Promoting personnel to maintain a good image of the government, to be a good example for students, and to demonstrate self-respect in order to create confidence, acceptance, and trust in students and the public.
Naronchai Phukaew Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Educational Innovation and Research https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jeir/article/view/284229 Sun, 28 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Employee Engagement in Organization 21st Century https://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jeir/article/view/286888
The aim of this study is to examine employee organizational commitment in the 21st century based on relevant theories, concepts, and research. The findings show that employee organizational commitment in the present era consists of three main components: 1) Emotion, 2) Feelings/Mindset, and 3) Body/Behavior, with each main component comprising several subcomponents. The first main component (Emotion) includes five subcomponents: turnover intention, job satisfaction, expectations, expressions, and decision to resign. The second main component (Feelings/Mindset) consists of eight subcomponents: perception/feeling, compensation, fairness, appreciation, value, rewards and recognition, security, and understanding. The third main component (Body/Behavior) contains nine subcomponents: receiving opportunities from management, burnout, work environment, relationships with organizational structure, collaboration with colleagues and society, autonomy in work, physical commitment, productivity increase, and values. The study suggests that employee organizational commitment in the 21st century is complex and multifaceted. Developing and enhancing this commitment requires attention to emotional, psychological, and behavioral aspects to ensure employees' engagement and sustainable contribution within the organization.
Phaschanokphan Anuchatchai, Anan Thamchalai, Raveepat Chatchaiyadej, Trelup Toopgrajank Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Educational Innovation and Research https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jeir/article/view/286888 Sun, 28 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Development of a Budgetary Risk Management Model for Extra Large Secondary Schools Under the Office of the Basic Education Commission https://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jeir/article/view/286000
This Article aimed to study 1) The risks in budget management; 2)The guidelines for budget management; and 3) Develop a budgetary risk management model. Using a quantitative research approach, data were collected from 357 in-service university teachers through a structured questionnaire, and analyzed via Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results indicate that both external environmental factors—such as policy backing, social recognition, and institutional support—and internal factors—namely teachers’ knowledge and attitudes—have significant positive effects on perceived usefulness and teaching intention. Furthermore, perceived usefulness plays a partial mediating role between these factors and teachers’ implementation intention. The model demonstrated good fit indices (CFI=0.991, RMSEA=0.024), confirming the validity of the hypothesized pathways. These findings highlight the importance of providing continuous policy support, cultivating an inclusive school environment, and offering targeted professional training. Strengthening perceived usefulness can effectively enhance teachers’ engagement in sexuality education and contribute to the sustainable implementation of such programs within higher education settings.
Yang Lili, Jareeporn Chotipiboonsub Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Educational Innovation and Research https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jeir/article/view/283907 Sun, 28 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Moving Students’ Mathematical Thinking from Object Manipulation Experiences to Abstract Tools: Accessing the Unit Squares to Find the Area https://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jeir/article/view/286187
This research aimed to 1) explore evidence of students' mathematical thinking mobility and 2) study the sequence of students' mathematical thinking mobility from object manipulation experiences to abstract tools. Among various art songs, the most distinctive feature is that most of their lyrics are derived from folk poetry. The music forms and tunes possess strong expressive power, focusing on showcasing the characters' traits and inner thoughts. Piano accompaniment plays a decisive role in the performance of art songs, often forming a musical texture with the singer. Through their interaction, the poet and composer are integrated, revealing the inner world to the audience, who can clearly comprehend the artistic elegance within.

During his music study career, the author gained insights into the artistic image depicted by Schubert through long-term appreciation of his works, thereby developing a profound affection for art songs. Art songs require high artistic appreciation and aesthetic ability from both professionals and enthusiasts. Whether singing or recreating artistic songs, one must be able to clearly perceive the emotional charm and artistic appeal. Through personal advancement, the scientific guidance of a tutor, and the accumulation of artistic song works, the author has found the direction and focus of future research: the analysis of the relationship between sound and emotion.
