The Components of Servant Leadership of Primary School Administrators under Office of the Basic Education Commission in the Northeast

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the components of Servant Leadership of school administrators under the Basic Education Commission. It is a document research. It is carried out in 2 steps: 1) Study the documents and related research on Servant Leadership 15 sources
and interviews with 5 experts to synthesize the components of Servant Leadership
and 2) to corroborate the framework-synthesized framework of Servant Leadership elements
from the document by 5 experts persons. The tools used in the research were document analysis
form and interview form. Analyze the data by content analysis.


The results showed that 1) The servant leadership of school administrators Under the Basic Education Commission, there are 4 components: 1.1) service, which is to meet the needs of personnel. with the provision of facilities including giving advice and consulting 1.2) empathy for others by showing the appreciation of personnel Being empathetic, empathetic, accepting differences between people and behave with respect to individual rights 1.3) Awareness Executives must have knowledge and understand about their roles and duties; tactful, far-sighted, good at solving immediate problems, and alert and aware of changes. 1.4) Vision is the ability to set a vision linking to practice and giving personnel opportunities to participate in setting the vision Sorted by average is empathy and understanding of others. vision awareness and service 2) The results of confirmation of the main components as a whole showed that all aspects were feasible.
