Journal of Applied Psychology and Buddhism for Society (JPBS)

Aims and Scope:
To disseminate academic work and research in the fields of psychology, applied psychology, Buddhism, and applied Buddhism in conjunction with other disciplines, by accepting the publication of articles in both Thai and English languages.

Publication Frequency:
Two issues per year:

  • Issue 1: January – June
  • Issue 2: July – December

Types of Articles Accepted for Publication:

  1. Academic Article
  2. Research Article

Article Review and Selection Process:
Submitted articles undergo an initial review by the editorial board to ensure alignment with the journal's objectives and compliance with formatting guidelines. Once authors make initial revisions per the editorial board’s feedback, the article is forwarded to at least three qualified peer reviewers for evaluation, who have expertise in relevant fields. The review process is double-blinded, ensuring that neither authors nor reviewers know each other’s identities, and is conducted via the ThaiJO system.

Publication Fees:
The JPBS charges the following publication fees:

  1. General Academic Article: 2,500 THB
  2. Master’s Level Research Article: 3,000 THB
  3. Doctoral Level Research Article: 4,000 THB
  4. Funded Academic or Research Article: 4,000 THB
  5. Academic or Research Article for Academic Position Applications: 5,000 THB

Fees are charged once an article passes the initial editorial review to proceed with peer review. Refunds will not be provided if two out of three reviewers reject the article.
