Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • I consent that this article is the copyright of the Journal of Applied Psychology and Buddhism for Society (JPBS).
  • This submission has not been previously published anywhere, nor is it under consideration for publication in another journal.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document format.
  • Where applicable, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The article content is written according to the journal's specified format. If data or images from other sources are used, proper citation is required, and the author is responsible for accurate referencing or any omissions in citation.
  • All references must comply with the journal's requirements, both in the content and at the end of the article. The author(s) are responsible for all references cited.

2. Article Information

  1. Types of Articles Published in the Journal

    • Academic Article: Articles presenting academic knowledge in psychology, applied psychology, Buddhist teachings, and applied Buddhism across various fields for societal development in multiple dimensions, which have not been previously published in other journals.
    • Research Article: Reports on new research findings in psychology, applied psychology, Buddhist teachings, and applied Buddhism in various fields for societal development in multiple dimensions, which have not been previously published in other journals.
  2. Submission Process
    Authors who wish to submit an article must use the journal’s online system. The steps are as follows:

    • Access the journal’s system via https://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/human/index
    • Register (if not registered already)
    • Log in to the system
    • Select the "Submissions" menu and choose "Make a new submission"
    • Follow the steps to submit the article through the system
    • After submission, the editorial board will conduct an initial review to ensure the article aligns with the journal’s objectives, content quality, and formatting requirements
    • Authors can track the progress by logging into the journal's website, navigating to the "Submissions" menu, and selecting "View your pending submissions." Once approval is granted, a certificate of publication will be issued, completing the submission process.

  2. Title (centered): Thai/English title in 18-point font

  3. Author's Name (right-aligned)

    • Thai/English name in 14-point font; authors must include both Thai and English names and emails
    • Affiliations should be provided as footnotes in both Thai and English, using Arabic numerals and placed at the bottom of the page
  4. Abstract (centered): 18-point font, not exceeding 300 words (15–18 lines), 16-point font

    • Keywords (left-aligned): 18-point font, 3–6 keywords covering article content
    • If the article is written in English, no Thai abstract is required
  5. Main Sections: 18-point font, left-aligned, including:

    • Introduction (problem statement, importance, supporting data, and benefits)
    • Content (separate primary and secondary points as appropriate)
    • Conclusion (concise, aligned with objectives)
    • References (APA Style V.6, alphabetical order, Thai first, followed by English)

4. Illustrations
Illustrations should be appropriate for the content. If sourced from elsewhere, proper citation is required. Authors are responsible for citation accuracy.

5. Copyright
The journal holds all copyrights. Authors must confirm that the article submitted for publication consideration is only sent to JPBS. If content, images, tables, or other materials from third parties are used, authors must obtain permission and cite accurately. Authors are responsible for all citations or any omissions.
