SOCIAL CAPITAL AND HERITAGE TOURISM MANAGEMENT OF BAN CHAK NGAEO, CHON BURI PROVINCE

Abstract

             This qualitative research (fieldwork) focusing on the Social Capital and Heritage Tourism Management Of Ban Chak Ngaeo, Chon Buri Province. The objectives this research are (1) to study social capital in Thai-Chinese community Of Ban Chak Ngaeo, Chon Buri Province. (2) to study the causes of social capital and heritage tourism management Of Ban Chak Ngaeo, Chon Buri. The instruments is studying documentaries and in-depth interview of 15 key informants including non-participatory observation.

              Findings were as follows

1. 1. to study social capital in Thai-Chinese community Of Ban Chak Ngaeo, Chon Buri Province. The results showed that the community still maintains its lifestyle. Culture and traditions of the community. Unique architectural style. The community has a love for harmony and preserves the cultural identity of life in the community. The community has a dependence on each other. It makes the coexistence in peace. It is a relationship of the prototype community that values education and learning.
2. to study the causes of social capital and heritage tourism management Of Ban Chak Ngaeo, Chon Buri. Knowledge learned from Ban Chak Ngaeo community fond the key 5 dimensional knowledge, including the physical dimension, social dimension, psychic dimension, Intellectual dimension and leadership dimension.
