Abstract

This study aimed to examine factors influencing consumers’ purchase intention toward aluminum canned beverages in Bangkok, focusing on demographic and planned behavioral factors. Data were collected from 400 respondents aged 20 to 60 who purchased non-alcoholic canned beverages from convenience stores, supermarkets, and local shops. Statistical analyses included percentage, mean, Multiple Regression and ANOVA. The results revealed that age and income significantly affected purchase intention. High-income consumers emphasized product quality and brand image, while lower-income consumers focused on price and value. Planned behavioral factors—product and packaging, brand credibility, environmental concern, social influence, and psychological aspects—showed moderate to high influence, particularly confidence in product quality, environmental responsibility, and emotional attachment to brand image, which encouraged repeat purchases and brand loyalty. The findings suggest that marketers should focus on sustainable packaging, authentic brand communication, and positive consumption experiences to enhance motivation and promote sustainable purchasing behavior in today’s beverage market.
