Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Analyze the current state, problems, and needs in learning management to promote entrepreneurship using local wisdom for basic education students. (2) Develop learning management strategies to promote entrepreneurship through the integration of local wisdom for basic education students. (3) Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of these learning management strategies to promote entrepreneurship through the integration of local wisdom for basic education students using a participatory action research process in three phases:  Phase 1: Analyzing the current state, problems, and needs in learning management. Phase 2: Developing learning management strategies to promote entrepreneurship. Phase 3: Implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of the learning management strategies. The study involved six groups of participants: school administrators, teachers, local wisdom experts, entrepreneurs, and students. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, content analysis, and t-tests

The results were as follow;

  1. Most school curricula lack integration between entrepreneurship and local wisdom. Learning about local wisdom tends to focus more on preservation rather than economic advancement. Meanwhile, most teachers lack the necessary skills to teach entrepreneurship and require clear teaching techniques. Students seek learning experiences that connect to real life and future income generation, while communities expect schools to preserve and creatively develop local wisdom.
  2. The development of learning management strategies to promote entrepreneurship through the integration of local wisdom for basic education students resulted in the formulation of the "Learn, Business, Innovation, and Local Wisdom-Based Strategy." This strategy consists of four key components: 1) Integrating local wisdom into the curriculum. 2) Utilizing hands-on activities to enhance entrepreneurial skills. 3) Establishing collaborative networks between schools and communities. 4) Developing supporting factors for learning.
