Factors Affected to Effectiveness of Waste Management of Wang Phrao Municipal Area, Ko Kha District, Lampang Province

Abstract

     This research to study the efficiency level of municipal waste management. Study factors affecting the efficiency of municipal waste management. To suggest ways to enhance the efficiency of waste management in Wang Phrao Subdistrict Municipality. The population used was 5,381 people, the sample group was 372 people. Sampling using ready-made tables Krejci and Morgan, 95% confidence level, questionnaire, data collection, quantitative data analysis statistics, frequency values, percentages, hypothesis testing using statistics, test data. The chi-square value measures the direction of the relationship. Gamma variable at the statistical correlation level of .05

The results of the study found that

1. The level of efficiency of waste management in Wang Phrao Subdistrict Municipality is (1) punctuality of service (2) The readiness of equipment to collect the amount of waste (3) The number of trash cans is sufficient (4) In the aspect of providing knowledge in waste management and (5) In the aspect of publicizing correct waste management the statistical significance level .05,

3. Suggestions Should study more independent variables, such as the condition of garbage collection vehicles, waste disposal methods. 2) Study satisfaction with garbage collection management in other agencies in Lampang Province. Level of satisfaction of citizens 3) Study factors affecting satisfaction in order to use the results to develop waste collection methods in government agencies.
