An Evaluation of Master of Education Program in Curriculum and Instruction (Revised Edition in 2019) Using CIPP Evaluation Model

Abstract

          The objectives of the research to study the Evaluation of Master of Education Program in Curriculum and Instruction (Revised Edition in 2019) Using CIPP Evaluation Model. There are 4 aspects of Evaluation : Context, Input, Process and Product. The target group consisted of 104 people, consisting of 1) 14 Program instructors, 2) 30 Graduate students, 3) 30 School administrators and 4) 30 Student mentors. Tools used for data collection were: 1) curriculum evaluation form for program instructors and graduate students and 2) curriculum assessment form for school administrators and mentors. Mean and standard deviation were used to analyze quantitative data and content were used for qualitative data.

The research results :

1. In terms of context the opinion level evaluation results of program instructors and graduating students were consistent at a high level opinions ( =4.45, SD=0.10), ( =4.39,  SD=0.16), respectively.
2. Import Input evaluation results of the level of opinions of program instructors and graduating students. Overall, they were at a high level and had consistent opinions ( =4.39, SD=0.10), ( =4.32,  SD=0.52) , respectively.
3. Process the evaluation results of the opinion level of program instructors, overall, were at a high level and had consistent opinions ( =4.33, SD=0.10) and graduated students were overall at the highest level and had opinions. Corresponding ( =54, SD=0.11)
4. Product the evaluation results of the level of opinions of program instructors. graduate students school administrators and mentors as a whole were at a high level and their opinions are consistent with ( =4.13, SD=0.10), ( =4.43,  SD=0.17), ( =4.41,  SD=0.18) and ( =4.39,  SD=0.14) respectively.
