Problems Needs and Concept for Teaching in School of Internship Students in Master Degree of Curriculum and Instruction Nakhonratchasima College

Abstract

          The purposes of this research were to (1) study problems of teaching skills of internship students, (2) analyzed needs of developing teaching skills after teaching in school, and (3) study the students’ concept of teaching in school. The target students were 1) 30 internship students who were being studied on Teaching Internship I in master degree of Curriculum and Instruction in academic year 2022, 30 mentors and 10 supervisors. The instruments used in the research included of 1) 15 problem questionnaires of internship students’ teaching skills 2) 10 need questions for developing teaching skills of internship students, both 2 sets of questions were 5 rating scale which has IOC between 0.60-1.00, and 3) structured interview on concept of teaching in school.

          The results were as follows;

1. The problems of teaching skills of internship students was at the highest level
2. The students’ needs of developing teaching skills after teaching in school were at the highest level
3. Most of the students thought that the students should have opportunities to study various works in school, train to be a quality teacher with confidence. They hope that they can use the technique and modern learning innovation to develop students.
