A comparison of Science Learning Achievement, Local Stone Story of Prathom Suksa 6 Students between the Teaching with Books to enhance experience of Magical Set of Stones and the Normal Teaching

Abstract

          This study was conducted to (1) create and find a capability of extra-experience book about local rock by science subject for students grade 6 to be effective by criteria, (2) compare a study result about local rock in science subject for student grade 6 between teaching by extra-experience book and normal. The sample used in this study consist of 30 grade 6 students in the second semester of academic year 2021 from Watconon school under Phasi Charoen Area Office, Bangkok. Purposive sampling was used to select the sample by separate students into 2 groups are experimental group and control group. The experimental group is taught by local rock extra-experience book about amazing rock by science subject for 15 students grade 6. The control group is normal taught about 15 students. The instrument used in the study were 1) extra-experience book about local rock 2) lesson plan about local rock 3) achievement test about local test that have reliability value equal to 0.88 by Randomized Group, Pretest-Posttest Design plan. Analyze data Average, standard benchmark, and t-test independent value tests

          The results showed that :

          1. the book enhanced the experience. The magical set of local stones, subjects, is effective according to the criteria of 80/80, the result is 82.33/81.88

          2. the student's academic achievement during teaching using an experience book. The magical set of local stones is statistically significantly higher than students studying using normal teaching at .05, which is consistent with the assumptions.
